History & Museum Internships
Goldring/Woldenberg Institute of Southern Jewish Life, seeks a talented and energetic college junior or senior for an exciting, educational, and unique internship experience in Mississippi.
Our intern will primarily be involved in assisting in preparing for the Southern Jewish Historical Society Conference in Natchez this fall, November 4th-6th.
Duties may include:
- Researching and developing material for an exhibit designed for the historic Temple B’nai Israel highlighting the Natchez Jewish community. The Museum Programs intern will assist with constructing prototypes to be tested and evaluated by conference participants.
- Developing educational and innovative programmatic content for conference participants.
- Working hands on with our collection items, accessioning new donations and writing content about our museum objects and archival materials for the website.
