Shalom, y’all!
We’re the Goldring/Woldenberg Institute of Southern Jewish Life (ISJL), a regional nonprofit serving thirteen southern states. Established in 2000, our mission is to support, connect, and celebrate Jewish life in the South. We take a three-tiered approach to our work, helping communities through our programs and resources in the areas of Culture, Education, and Spirituality. Learn more about who we are, what we do, and how you can help to support our work. Serving communities in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia. |
In January, an arson attack on the synagogue in Jackson, home to the ISJL offices and Beth Israel Congregation, left us all reeling. We're continuing to deliver all of our programs and services, while dealing with the ongoing fallout of that horrific act. Now, more than ever, we appreciate your support.
