The two-year fellowship offered by the ISJL’s Community Engagement Department is a dynamic opportunity to do hands-on social justice work while learning about nonprofit management, event planning, partnership building, and more.
Fellows help implement programs in public schools addressing issues such as literacy and mediation. Fellows also work with Jewish communities through the ASK modules program, which provides opportunities for study leading to meaningful service as people explore issues of social justice through a Jewish lens.
ISJL Community Engagement Fellows work in the ISJL office, travel to lead programs at congregations, and and frequently visit sites such as schools and libraries to work alongside volunteers, educators, civic leaders, and other nonprofit staff and supporters.
The Fellowship position is open to applicants! The next two-year CE Fellowship will be for 2020-2022, with a start date of June 2020.
