​Introducing Smüz: A Dating App for Jewish Parents

It’s no secret that we here at the ISJL are fully invested in supporting, connecting, and celebrating Jewish life in the South. For several years, our Education department in particular has been all about providing a quality education for Jewish children all across our region. We are always looking at ways to better serve our partners and continue fulfilling our mission. So, to celebrate our 19th year of operation, we are humbled to present you with our latest innovation: Smüz.
 
Smüz is a dating application for your smartphone that does what other dating apps won’t. We’re all about solving problems that face the Jewish community, and Smüz solves the biggest problem of them all:
 
Finding your adult child a nice, Jewish, significant other.
 
As parents you can only do so much: you can bug your children over Shabbat dinner, gift them memberships to JSwipe, or even find the number of that nice AEPi boy who’s going to medical school after finishing up undergrad at NYU. Smüz cuts out all of the awkwardness and gets straight to the point. You want Jewish grandchildren; why shouldn’t you be able to connect with like-minded parents?
 
It’s easy! First, create a profile for your child, fill in some basic information about them, and then browse the profiles of nice, Jewish singles that just need a little help from their parents! Through the app, you can exchange information with other parents and work out a plan of action to get your child partnered up, and get you on the way to being a kvelling grandparent!
 
    
 
At the ISJL, we’re passionate about Jewish education; so what better way to ensure the future of Jewish education than by helping to make more Jews to fill pews, classrooms, and summer camps?
 
For a limited time, we are excited to extend a special offer: For the first child conceived as a result of a Smüz match, we will pay for the first five years of their religious school tuition at a participating religious school that uses the ISJL Religious School Curriculum!
