LAB: The Literacy Achievement Bonanza

Picture

What is the LAB?

The Literacy Achievement Bonanza, or LAB, is a week-long program full of literacy-based activities designed to foster a positive relationship with reading while improving literacy skills (reading, writing, listening, and speaking) in age-, skill-, and developmentally-appropriate methods aligned with the College and Career Readiness Standards.

The 2024 Spring Break LAB was March 11-15. It was an incredible week of learning, laughing, and creating lasting connections and BIG LOVE FOR LITERACY!

We are proud to partner with Operation Shoestring to offer LAB programming over spring break, and literacy support year-round. Learn more about Operation Shoestring and all the wonderful work they do for the metro-Jackson community!
