Hineinu Y'all: We're Here, Y'all!
A New Approach to Jewish Education in the South
In the 2024-2025 school year, with the support of The Covenant Foundation,
we're re-imagining our approach to Jewish Education in the South.
we're re-imagining our approach to Jewish Education in the South.
After hearing from our community partners region-wide about their evolving needs, we are changing the structure of our Education team and our options for Education support. The two options will be Hineinu Y'all cohort partners, and Associate Partnerships.
Hineinu Y'all ("We're here, y'all!") is the new option for communities who want sophisticated support from the ISJL, which includes consultations with seasoned Jewish Educators and a year-round cohort experience to connect them with other southern Jewish educators (plus the full ISJL Curriculum, program bank resources, and more). This is the full partnership experience, with favorite go-to resources layered in with all-new elements, and no price increase over last year's Gimel option! The cost is only $500/year, plus $36 student; communities who want in-person visits will have additional fees to cover those costs. Our Hineinu Y'all cohort will have a communal kickoff at the 2024 Southern & Jewish Conference. The new ISJL Education team, led by Molly Levy, will lead the Hineinu Y'all track at the conference, and will bring in nationwide thought leaders, including Miriam Brosseau of Tiny Windows, to start the program strong. Associate Partners will be able to use the ISJL Curriculum, attend monthly Coffee Talks over Zoom with ISJL Educators, and participate in an online teacher in-service. It's a great option for communities that mostly need curricular support. The cost for Associate Partnership is $36/student; any add-on services such as program bank access or consultations with Educators will entail additional fees.
