Literacy

We believe in the power of reading.

Literacy isn't just key to academic success; it also opens doors to employment, empowers civic engagement, and more.

The ISJL offers literacy programming designed to engage and excite students while building their literacy and life skills.

From our literacy day camp LAB and intergenerational family activities to one-on-one reading interventions and monthly Word Play newsletters (scroll through it below!), the ISJL is committed to engaging literacy learning throughout our communities.

Learn more about our literacy initiatives, including ones you can bring right into your own local community, by emailing literacy@isjl.org.
