Where do Jewish, southern, and queer histories intersect? The answer might be Roanoke, Virginia, where Samantha Rosenthal (she/her or they/them) lives and works. Samantha is Associate Professor of History and Coordinator of the Public History Concentration at Roanoke College in Salem, Virginia.
