Calling All College Students! For many of our students, our programs have clear methods for engaging them and serving them right up until they graduate high school. Recently, with couples tending to have children later in life, new organizations and efforts have focused on emerging adults (rather than new families). While these investments are worthwhile, a population that often remains under-served is the college-age congregant.
We see our children grow and learn from toddlers into teens, but then we have little-to-no connection to them in that phase. Granted, they are usually in a new and relatively distant location, but that does not absolve us of the myriad of options of engagement that we can offer them. Thinking that many students will soon be home for a “winter break” we thought now was the perfect time to explore some options for you to think about (or enhance, if you’re already doing them) to engage your college-aged learners. So check it out:
Happy reading, happy Chanukah, and get some rest over the break(s)! Comments are closed.
